I was inspired by Sir John Tenniel's illustrations for, Through the looking glass and what Alice found there, in the book a boy is sent out to hunt and kill the notorious Jabberwock. But in my version Alice takes on the hunt for the Jabberwock,'long time the manxome foe she sought'. However, when she sees that the Jabberwock is really just a terrified monster with its own babies she decides to let it go free. She keeps a baby Jabberwock herself, to rear in safety-this Alice is all about conservation, not destruction.
